                    *** PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM ***

                                 OBJECTIVES:

The primary intent of a Preventive Maintenance Program is to
        accomplish the following.

            - Minimize machine downtime and reduce unscheduled service calls.
            - Reduce costs for the customer and MBF.
            - Increase customer satisfaction and awareness.

                                  OVERVIEW:

Visual Inspection| Check for excessive wear, corrosion, belt condition and
tension, loose connections and parts, frayed/defective
                        wiring and/or cables, switches/sensors.

Cleaning| Exterior should be reasonably clean.
Interior should be vacuumed and cleaned when necessary.
DO NOT USE abrasive cleaners. DO NOT USE cleaning
materials which contain Acetone, Toluene, Xylene or
Benzene. These cleaners may cause equipment damage and
                        costly repairs.
When using alcohol, use an isopropyl alcohol of 91% or
greater. Rubbing alcohol (70%) in NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Lubrication| Recommended items should be lubricated as specified in
the Service Manual. DO NOT OVER LUBRICATE.

Corrective Action| Corrective measures (if needed) should consist of
adjustment/replacement as prescribed in the Service
                        Manual.

Operation| Run exerciser/diagnostics to verify correct machine
operation.. This will insure that a problem was not
inadvertently put on the machine at the time of the PM.

-- PM should be scheduled maintenance time. This allows the customer and MBF
more efficient use of Resources and Personnel.

-- Check with the customer on equipment performance. His/Her comments can
     help determine potential problems.

-- USE APPROPRIATE STATIC PROCEDURES WHEN NECESSARY --
