			ARTSHEET INSTRUCTIONS                Issued 3-26-91

     1. Copy the artsheet template and name your artsheet file by 
        typing the following command:

        COPY ARTSH_FORM filename.FRM

     2. Start to fill out the artsheet using the EVE interface to the 
        VAX Text Processing Utility (TPU) by typing the following command:

        EDIT/TPU filename.FRM

        Adjust the form for readability by following steps  a, b, and c.
        Brackets [] around terms indicate keys on your keyboard.

	     a. Widen the screen

		     Press [Do]
  		     command: set width 132 [RETURN]

	     b. Adjust the right margin

		     Press [DO]
		     command: set right margin 132 [RETURN]

	     c. Toggle to overstrike mode:

		     Press [F14]

		     Check lower right corner of shaded area to be 
                     sure you are in overstrike mode.

   
        Use the arrow keys to move up, down, left, and right within the 
        form. Do not use [Return] or [Tab] because if you do the artsheet 
        gets distorted. If this happens, you can recover by pressing the 
        delete key [<X]].

        Fill in all the blanks on the first page of the artsheet except 
        for the final art image area, actual pcs. of art, and the 
        conversion information under Bookreader, which will be filled out 
        by the illustrator.

        On all remaining pages of the artsheet, fill in the left side giving 
        the unchanged, revised, and new information, old ID number, figure 
        number and title of your art. The illustrator will fill in the right 
        side of the sheet giving the final pica counts, wide, turn, and fold 
        information, new ID number, tool and percentage.

     3. Save the artsheet file and exit from TPU by typing [Ctrl/Z].

     4. Print the artsheet (on LPS20, LPS40, LPS40-PLUS or LN03R 
        ScriptPrinters) by typing the following command:

        PRINT/QUE=quename/PARA=PAGE_ORIEN=LANDSCAPE filename.FRM
