Demo 1 -- Rapid API Experiments and Explorations
Activation -- Turning AppKit, Foundation and IB InterACTIVE ...
This First Example shows you How Fast ActiveDeveloper can set you InterACTIVE with any of the Framworks: WebObjects, EOF, AppKit, Foundation. We have Activated the AppKit and Foundation already (WebObjects and EOF are in the works) so all you have to do is:
- Launch ActiveDeveloper
- Launch the ActtiveDeveloperAppKitExplorer Image.
- Start coding away ... in ActiveDeveloper
Or even better - To get InterACTIVE with the InterfaceBuilder, ALL you have to do is:
- Launch ActiveDeveloper
- Launch InterfaceBuilder
- Load the ActiveDeveloperIBExplorer.palette into InterfaceBuilder
- Start coding away ... in ActiveDeveloper
Being InterACTIVE, you can Write Native Objective-C codeand have it Evaluated, Displayed immediately.
With the resulting Objects you can Inspect their Instance Variables and Browse around their Object Graphs
of connected Objects in the ObjectBrowser. From there you can perform further Explorations.
For more Details on Being InterACTIVE, check the FAQ contained in the Download package.
Open the Workspace.wsp file for some PlayCode using AppKit and Foundation
This should whet your teeth about basic ActiveDeveloper abilities ...
