Installing Joy

This file explains how to install the Joy package.

Installation steps

1. You must be root to install Joy.

2. Remove any old Joy Installation, if present. Double click on /NextLibrary/Receipts/Joy.pkg and click the Delete icon.

3. Double click the new Joy.pkg installer package and then click the Install icon.

4. Choose the computers you want to run Joy on (Intel Compatible or NeXT Motorola CPU).
Ignore the "CPU 18" entry.

5. Click the Install button.

This will install Joy into /LocalLibrary. You may want to read the README file in /LocalLibrary/Joy and the Documentation in /LocalLibrary/Joy/Documentation or have a look at the Examples in /LocalLibrary/Joy/Examples.
