Running the Pages Self-Running Demo (PagesSRD.watch)

Our self-running demo uses the application WatchMe, which you need to install before actually running the demo. This complete version of this demo has a voice track, which you will hear if your system supports sound under NEXTSTEP. Also, the demo assumes 1132 x 820 resolution; if you have a smaller screen, there may be some clipping along the right and bottom edges.

Which files you need:

	WatchMe.app

	Either of these two
		PagesSRD.watch
		PagesSRD_NoSound.watch, which needs to be renamed PagesSRD.watch before running.

Before running the demo:
	Log in as root.
	Copy WatchMe.app into your /LocalApps directory.
	Launch it, click on the ĒRun Unlicensedē button, then quit. This causes the system to recognize WatchMe 	
		and its extensions . 
	Log out.
	
To run the demo:
	Make sure you have at least 10MB of free space on your hard drive. This is the space that WatchMe will use 
		to decompress and run the demo.
	Double-click on PagesSRD.watch. You must do this, rather than launch WatchMe directly, for the entire demo 
		to run. 

During the demo, you can pause by pressing Cmd-Shift-U; continue by pressing Cmd-Shift-P; and stop by pressing Cmd-Shift-S. 

NOTES: The image files within PagesSRD.watch are compressed to save space. When you launch PagesSRD.watch, it will take a few minutes to decompress them.

If the sound and images get out of sync, you can re-synchronize them by pausing the demo, then continuing.
