Title (Caption)

You can display the string in "Title" field of the scenario window as the title (or caption) of the image. To do so, with the radio button in the frame of "Image Files", select "Upper" or "Lower".

If you want to display title with more than 1 line, type Alt+Enter (New-Line code) into "Title" field of the scenario window.

Mark

If you select any color (except "none") with the popup menu of "Mark", you can attach a small mark to the sheet. A mark is displayed at the upper right corner of the screen.

You can use marks as check points of the presentation.

Background of EPS

You can specify background color for EPS images whose background is transparent. In order to display the Setting panel, click the button (D) of Fig. 1. With the popup menu "Background of EPS", you can select "none" (transparent), "White", or "As Text". Setting on the panel is used for all sheets of the scenario.

On the Inspector panel, there is a check button "Transparent Background for Text & EPS". If you mark this check button, background of EPS image is treated as transparent ignoring the setting on the Setting panel. This setting is effective only to the current sheet.

How to Make EPS Images Using Drawing Tools

You can make EPS images using drawing tools such as Diagram! or Draw.app. This section explains how to make EPS image files.
  1. Prepare an Image --- Make an image or figure with a drawing tool.
  2. Select and Copy --- Select all or a part of image you want to include into EPS image, and then do copy operation (Command-c).
  3. Paste --- Type the following command on Terminal.
    pbpaste > zzz.eps
Then, you can get EPS file named zzz.eps
If you have installed ToyViewer already, after copy operation, click "File / Open Pasteboard" of the menu of ToyViewer. Then, you can display the contents of pasteboard, and then you can save it as an EPS file.
Needless to say, some applications can save images into EPS files without operations described here.

Additionally, some applications, even if they are not drawing tools, can make EPS files. For instance, LQ.app is not a drawing tool, but you can copy tables in EPS format.
