This folder contains the files required to create a disk and run CP/68 on an Altair 680 with an iCOM 360 or Pertec FD3712 drive cabinet connected through a 68-UIO board. The disk images here (CP68*.DSK) are in 8" IBM 3740 format (26 spt, 77 sectors). Write them to a disk using whatever computer/utility you have for writing an IBM 8" disk. The Altair 680 monitor PROM at $FF00 must be replaced with "SWIMON" which vectors SWI through RAM at $0010. The original monitor does not allow access to SWI which is required by CP/68. Find SWIMON here: https://deramp.com/downloads/altair/software/altair_680/PROM%20Monitor/ A boot PROM (used for FLEX and CP/68) must be burnt and installed in the $FC00 socket. The boot PROM can be found here: https://deramp.com/downloads/altair/software/altair_680/FLEX/ With SWIMON and the boot PROM in place, jump to $FC00 (J FC00) to boot CP/68 (disk in drive 0). CP/68 requires at least 16K-32K of RAM. The "asm" folder contains the files I used to create the bootable disk image. Thanks to Roberto Sancho Villa for his work resurrecting CP/68 for the 6800 community.
