INSTUCTIONS TO LOAD CODE OVER THE SCSI BUS FROM A WORKSTATION


1.  Download codeload.exe and the .bin files for desired versions of code 
    from the BBS.

2.  Make a directory called codeload.

3.  Copy files downloaded from BBS into the codeload directory.  Go to the 
    codeload directory.

4.  Type Codeload
	This will extract four files:
	- bin2tap.exe
	- bin2tap.txt
	- conqdiag.exe
	- conqdiag.txt

5.  Type bin2tap <filename>.bin   Example: bin2tap 8SC-07J0.bin.  This will 
    convert a .bin file to a .tap file.

6.  Type conqdiag,  this will take you into the diagnostic tool program. 

7.  Arrow to SCSI, press enter twice.

8.  Enter the SCSI ID for your drive (0-6).  Notice at the bottom of the 
    screen it will show your drive model, inquiry string, and fecode version.  
    Write this down.

9.  Arrow to load code.  You will see the .tap files to choose from.  Choose 
    the code you want to load into drive.  Press enter.

10. When the codeload is complete, you will see a message with the amount of 
    time it took to do the codeload.  Compare the information at the bottom 
    of the screen to what you wrote down, you should see the difference.
